# Set Up Wallet

  <Step title="Create a new wallet">
    Open the app and tap **Create New Wallet**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Back up your seed phrase">
    Write down your 12-word seed phrase and store it safely offline. **Never share it with anyone.**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm seed phrase">
    Re-enter your seed phrase to confirm it's saved correctly.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a PIN">
    Create a PIN to protect access on your device.
  </Step>

  Your seed phrase is the only way to recover your wallet. If lost, funds cannot be recovered by anyone — including Fizen.
