Manual Installation

Install your Fizen eSIM by QR code or by entering the activation code manually — step-by-step for iOS and every Android brand.

Most users don’t need this page — the one-click activation link installs everything automatically. Use manual installation when you’re installing the eSIM on a different phone than the one you bought it on (each eSIM still works on one device only), the link doesn’t open, or you prefer QR/code entry.

Your QR code, SM-DP+ Address, and Activation Code are all on the eSIM detail screen in the Fizen App, and in your confirmation email.

iOS

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data)

   
2. Tap Add eSIM

   
3. Choose 'Use QR Code'

   
4. Scan the QR code from the eSIM detail screen

   You’ll need the QR code displayed on another screen or printed out, so this phone’s camera can scan it. (The eSIM still installs on this phone only.)

   
5. Tap Continue and wait for activation

   
6. Choose labels for your new eSIM line

   
7. Enable 'Turn On This Line' and 'Data Roaming'

   

Enter details manually

1. Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → 'Use QR Code'

   Same path as the QR flow (screens 1–3 above).

2. Tap 'Enter Details Manually' at the bottom of the screen

   
3. Paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code

   Copy both from the eSIM detail screen in the Fizen App, then tap Next.

   
4. Wait for activation, choose labels, then enable 'Turn On This Line' and 'Data Roaming'

   Same as screens 5–7 in the QR flow above.

If you can’t connect after installing, configure the Cellular Data Network APN settings:

Samsung

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager

   
2. Tap Add eSIM → 'Scan QR code'

   
3. Scan the QR code

   
4. Tap Download (or Add)

   
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

   

   

Enter code manually

1. Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager
2. Tap Add eSIM → 'Enter activation code'
3. Enter the activation code and tap Next
4. Tap Download
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

Pixel

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → Network & Internet
2. Tap SIMs → Add eSIM
3. Tap 'Download a SIM instead' → Next
4. Scan the QR code and tap Download
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

Enter code manually

1. Open Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs
2. Tap Add eSIM → 'Download a SIM instead'
3. Tap 'Need help?' → 'Enter activation code'
4. Enter the activation code, confirm and download
5. Finish setup

The screens look very similar to the Samsung flow pictured in the Samsung tab: scan → download → done.

Xiaomi

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks
2. Tap eSIM → Add eSIM
3. Tap 'Use QR Code' and scan the QR code
4. Tap Download (or Add)
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

Enter code manually

1. Open Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks → eSIM
2. Tap Add eSIM → 'Enter activation code'
3. Enter the activation code
4. Download the eSIM and complete setup

The screens look very similar to the Samsung flow pictured in the Samsung tab: scan → download → done.

Oppo / Vivo

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → Mobile network (or SIM card & mobile network)
2. Tap eSIM → Add eSIM
3. Tap 'Use QR Code' and scan the QR code
4. Tap Download (or Add)
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

Enter code manually

1. Open Settings → Mobile Network → eSIM
2. Tap Add eSIM
3. Enter the activation code
4. Download the eSIM and complete setup

The screens look very similar to the Samsung flow pictured in the Samsung tab: scan → download → done.

Honor / Huawei

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → Mobile network
2. Tap SIM Management → Add eSIM
3. Tap 'Use QR Code' and scan the QR code
4. Tap Download (or Add)
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

Enter code manually

1. Open Settings → Mobile Network → SIM Management
2. Tap Add eSIM
3. Enter the activation code
4. Download the eSIM and complete setup

Other Android

Via QR code

1. Open Settings → Connections (or Network & Internet)
2. Tap SIMs, SIM Manager, or eSIM → Add eSIM

   
3. Tap 'Use QR Code' and scan the QR code

   
4. Tap Download (or Add)

   
5. Wait while the eSIM downloads, then tap Done

   

Enter code manually

1. Open Settings → Network & Internet, Mobile Network, or Connections
2. Tap SIMs, SIM Manager, or eSIM
3. Tap Add eSIM (or Download a SIM)
4. Select 'Enter activation code' or 'Enter details manually'
5. Enter the activation code, confirm and download
6. Wait while the eSIM activates, then tap Done
